ZAI Wins MARMC Work as Part of URS Team

ZAI, as part of the URS Team, will provide submarine mechanical/electronics systems engineering, analytical, logistics, and technical support to the U.S. Navy Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC). Tasks we will perform include troubleshooting, assessment, installation, testing, certificaton, incidental repair, refurbishment, and the logistical support to submarine combat, electronic and mechanical systems, world-wide. ZAI will provide support in the following areas: 1) technical assistance; 2) equipment operation assessment; 3) shipboard alternation (SHIPALTs), temporary alterations (TEMPALTs), Alteration Installation Team (AIT), Engineering Change (EC), and Field Change (FC) support; 4) extended shipyard or pier-side availability repair and modification support; 5) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS); and 6) program planning. ZAI is proud of our long-standing support of the U.S. Navy.

MARMC was established in 2009 with a charter to provide industrial repair, planning, and execution; technical assistance; contract administration; and engineering services for surface ship maintenance and modernization around the globe, wherever the Warfighter requires. MARMC acts at the central point of contact on all matters regarding ship and boat repair, modernization, conversion, activation, and inactivation, from advanced planning through post-completion evolutions. MARMC provides engineering and technical services in support of Fleet Readiness for all ships, submarines, and aircraft carriers.
