During our tenure supporting the Goddard Liberary, ZAI has successfully performed two major website redesigns, which included upgrading the infrastructure, incorporating new applications, and improving the user’s experience with each new deployment.
The project included updating the underlying technology and integrated social media, enabling enhanced functionality for users, expanding their experiences, and dramatically improving content manageability for Library staff.
The streamlined search interface and enhanced navigation have transformed the site into a valuable tool that simplifies and integrates library resources and services to meet the changing needs of Goddard’s researchers. Additionally, this migration achieved cost savings by moving the website into an entirely open source solution (a Linux server and the Drupal CMS), and enables Library staff to quickly update content throughout the site using a simple web interface.
