Selective Service System Awards ZAI a New Contract

The Selective Service System (SSS) today announced the award of a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract to Zimmerman Associates, Inc. (ZAI) for records digitization by information transference to electronic media of SSS financial and procurement records.
About the Selective Service System
The SSS is a small, independent agency within the Executive Branch that operates under permanent authorization via the Military Service Act. The agency’s vision is to be an active partner in the national preparedness community to anticipate and respond to changing needs of the nation. The agency’s mission includes being prepared to provide trained and untrained personnel to the DoD in the event of a national emergency, and being prepared to implement an alternative service program in the civilian community for registrants classified as conscientious objectors.
