Donald Sullivan

Division Manager

Mr. Sullivan joined ZAI in 2013, bringing more than 25 years of leadership and expertise in areas of record, system and project management with a focus on process improvement. As a Division Manager, Mr. Sullivan provides corporate-level oversight for our work at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  He directly supports customer-facing operations to ensure we apply ZAI’s high standards to our FDA work, create an environment of positive engagement for our staff, and provide continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.  In addition, he champions ZAI’s ISO 9001 program, and led our transformation and certification under the current ISO 9001:2015 standard.

Prior to coming to ZAI, Mr. Sullivan spent several years at SAIC, working with the U.S. Navy’s Director of Records, after many years with commercial corporations in several industries across a variety of project management, business analysis, and software lifecycle development positions.

Mr. Sullivan holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron in Accounting, which he admits was never used as planned – instead becoming enamored with an up and coming industry – generically referred to as “computers.”

He lives in the Washington, DC metro area with his wife; however, he keeps past ties to see his son, daughter, and son-in-law, who he jokingly says “inexplicably went to Ohio for college and then chose to stay there!”  In his spare time, he follows the local professional sports teams – caving into the intense media coverage which drew him in. He also recently became a long-time loyal fan of the Stanley Cup Champion Caps.
