Barbara Wright

Director, Human Resources

Ms. Wright oversees all aspects of human resources. She administers ZAI’s benefit and compensation programs, develops and maintains ZAI’s Corporate Policies and Procedures, and oversees corporate recruiting efforts. She also conducts employee orientation programs and performs ongoing personnel, management and supervisory training. She leads and administers ZAI’s annual employee performance review program.

Ms. Wright has more than 25 years of progressive, hands-on experience in all areas of human resources administration, including nine years supporting Federal Government contracting. Prior to joining ZAI full-time in January 2019, she served as a consultant to ZAI for a year and spent eight years as the Director of Human Resources as Diamond Solutions, Inc. Prior to entering the Federal realm, Ms. Wright was the Director of Human Resources at CPC Health Corporation and the United Service Organization (USO). In the former position, she organized and implemented HR programs for a 400+ employee mental health hospital, including five satellite clinics. In the latter, she managed and supported a large, complex organization with globally dispersed employees and staff.

Ms. Wright holds a BA in Political Science from Princeton University and is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). When not working, she enjoys going to the theatre, reading romance novels, visiting museums, traveling to warm-weather places, and, most of all, spending time with her spouse and daughter.
