National Library of Medicine (NLM)

The world’s largest biomedical library, NLM maintains and makes available a vast print collection and produces electronic information resources on a wide range of topics that are searched billions of times each year by millions of people around the world. NLM collections contain more than 28 million print and non-print items, as well as a vast collection of microform and audiovisual materials. Since 2012, ZAI has maintained order in the NLM collections. Our professional librarians provide all manner of traditional library services, including acquisitions and resource management, collection shelving and re-shelving, retrieval of library materials for use by visiting researchers, preparing and shipping items for commercial binding and reviewing newly-bound volumes, and reformatting collection materials.
