From 2003 to 2020, ZAI operated the Department of Justice (DOJ) Community Oriented Police Services (COPS) Response Center, the primary point of contact for COPS grantees, law enforcement officials, and the general public to obtain information about COPS grant programs and publications. Primarily a call center operation, ZAI also provided IT services for the underlying systems used by the call center. We worked with the COPS Office to develop and implement a new and improved Resource Center website, and implemented a shopping cart approach for ordering publications that uploads orders directly into the order fulfillment system. ZAI call center staff used a web-based application tool developed by ZAI for entering, retrieving, and tracking all calls received and resource requests.
