DoED – ELVIS

ZAI played an integral role in the development and design of the Education Literature Validation and Indexing System (ELVIS), an Internet-based, workflow processing system used by the Department of Education (DoED). ZAI authored specifications for metadata fields, a “duplicates” checking facility, and integration with the ERIC Thesaurus of Descriptors. ZAI participated in extensive testing of the new system, identifying bugs and suggesting further improvements to increase production efficiency.
