ZAI had a booth at the Computers in Libraries (CIL) Expo once again this year. We talked to many
representatives from public, legal, and educational library systems.
CIL bills itself as the leading technology conference & exhibition for information age librarians. From the conference website: CIL, “organized and produced by Information Today, Inc., provides a unique, annual opportunity for library and information professionals from all over the world to gather and discuss the myriad of ways technology impacts libraries and the people who use them.” This year’s theme was “Libraries Adapting to Change.”
As always, our tchotchkes were a hit with attendees. This year we had ZAI-branded chocolate squares and buttons with short sayings that appealed to the librarians in attendance:
– What happens in the library… stays in the library
– Nothing better than an organized bookshelf
– Librarian: The original search engine
– Library: A place of dreams
– Librarian: Ask me anything!
