8/25/2006 - ZAI Represents FEMA’s MSC at the NFIP Conference in Philadelphia

ON behalf of FEMA’s Map Service Center (MSC), ZAI exhibited at the National Flood Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, May 7 –10, 2006. ZAI demonstrated how to view map images, order DFIRM products, and to create “FIRMettes” for both black, white and color images. The FIRMettes are a user-defined portion of a map image at the same scale as a Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM). In addition to capturing the user-defined area of interest, the FIRMette also includes a map title block, the north arrow, and the scale bar. There were over 900 attendees at the Conference. ZAI maintains and operates the MSC located in Elkridge, Maryland.
