8/11 /2006 - ZAI Library staff published an article in “The Virtual Reference Desk: Creating a Reference Future”

THE article entitled, “Creating a Knowledge Base: Analyzing a Veteran Reference Librarian’s Brain” published in The Virtual Reference Desk: Creating a Reference Future”.

ANDREA Japzon and Sarah Endres, ZAI Library staff, had the article published as Chapter 8 in The Virtual Reference Desk: Creating a Reference Future, Neal-Schuman Publishers. The article was written in conjunction with Charles Early, and discusses how online reference services, real-time and e-mail were used to develop a user-searchable knowledgebase. The Virtual Reference is a guide for librarians that includes, among other topics, digital projects, management, and wireless mobile technologies.
