7/20/2005 - Friendship Quilt Guild makes quilts for wounded soldiers

THE Friendship Quilt Guild makes and distributes quilts to wounded soldiers returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. A 40 x 60” quilt is given to each when they arrive at Andrews Air Force Base destined for Walter Reed Hospital. Ms. Pat Norton, ZAI Serials Technician and a member of the Guild, presented the red, white and blue quilt to Major Luis Cotto-Amyo, who is Ms. Pat Powell’s son-in-law.
