ZAI is pleased to announce it has achieved and been formally rated at CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) Level 3 v1.3 for Development (DEV) by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

In general, the CMMI methodology provides a widely-recognized framework for assessing, evaluating, improving, and implementing processes, as well as developing best practices. Specifically, the DEV constellation, or process area (one of three possible), concentrates on improving the development of product or complex service solutions.

Earning the CMMI Level 3 rating is an important milestone for ZAI. “This achievement further validates ZAI as a leader in providing information technology services, focused on proactive management and continuous improvement,” said Stephen Deitz, ZAI’s Chief Operations Officer. “I am extremely pleased that our organization has been appraised at CMMI Level 3.”

ZAI uses CMMI methodology-based processes across operating units to standardize business performance, improve efficiencies, and minimize cost.
