ZAI’s SeaPort-e Quality Assurance Program entails processes that have been ISO9001:2008 certified and CMMI Level 3 appraised. These processes ensure that we maintain the highest standard of service to our customer and deliver quality products. Our Quality Assurance Program details methodologies, roles, and responsibilities for providing the required quality monitoring, inspection criteria, and control processes needed to determine preventive or corrective actions required for product or service discrepancies found during project execution. For each task order, or major project within a task order, ZAI develops a Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) that is approved by the Navy customer/Task Order Manager. Our QAP comprises the following four basic components: (1) a tailored quality process based on our ISO9001:2008 quality program; (2) independent quality reviews targeting work products; (3) a QAP tailored to meet the requirements of the specific SOW and other customer needs; and (4) a toolset that supports the required standards and processes. ZAI’s ISO 9001:2008 certified approach to quality management includes:
- Defined quality management roles and responsibilities
- Defined standards and quality checks to ensure performance standards and project objectives are met
- Quality reporting to track and document performance
- Recurring meetings and corporate-level quality reviews to verify activities, outcomes, and customer satisfaction
- Positive awareness and continuous feedback to project staff to maintain high visibility on quality performance
