Web and Data Services
We provide Section 508-compliant website hosting, user training, and information dissemination, even for secure websites. ZAI provides content for and access to knowledge-based repositories. We also provide support for planned and unscheduled system outages and outage status; instructions on self-service access, support, and resources; alert messaging; training for deployment of new applications and upgrades; and ticket reporting to analyze trends for training and content.

GIS
Our expertise includes integrating Geographic Information System (GIS) functions into document management solutions. We took FEMA from a strictly paper-based distribution system, and enabled the agency to deliver and distribute even the largest maps digitally. We integrated the system with GIS functions so users simply enter an address into the FEMA website to find map products based on their locations.

Development and Integration
ZAI systems integration and software development methodology is assessed at CMMI Level 3. We perform rigorous system acceptance testing prior to production. All integration and development is done in accordance with milestones such as customer approval of system requirements, analysis, design, and walkthrough. A final test and acceptance is obtained before the hardware or software is moved into production. All system components, program elements, and acceptance test results are maintained in a documentation library.

ZAI used this methodology to design and develop the FEMA Map Service Center ecommerce site. We evaluated the best solutions for this project and developed a complex, integrated commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solution, including a web interface and large-scale map delivery.

Data Center Operations
We provide a full suite of data center operations and network administration services, including help desk support. We support Microsoft Windows Server, Sun, Linux, IBM AIX, EMC SANs and VMWare server platforms. Our network administration professionals diagnose and resolve such issues as account administration, new systems and system upgrades, network security, account and password administration, secure credentials, password management, Virtual Private Network (VPN) access, Remote Service Access (RSA) tokens, security operations, and virus removal.
