BENEFITS
TO meet the needs of our highly diversified staff, ZAI offers a choice of benefit plans and levels of coverage, to include the following:
PAID LEAVE
- Vacation (10 days accrued per year, increasing with tenure)
- Sick Leave (7 days per year)
- Holidays (10 days per year)
- Military Leave (up to 10 days per year)
- Jury Duty (up to 10 days per year)
- Bereavement Leave (up to 3 days)
MEDICAL AND DENTAL COVERAGE - A multi-tiered insurance program is provided so that employees have the freedom to choose the type of plan and level of coverage that best meets their personal and family needs. ZAI pays approximately 60% of the cost of medical and dental coverage.
INCOME PROTECTION - ZAI provides a Long-Term Disability program designed to protect your income during prolonged and serious injuries and/or illnesses. A voluntary, employee-paid Short-Term Disability program is also available.
LIFE INSURANCE AND AD&D - ZAI provides a Life Insurance and AD&D (Accidental Death & Dismemberment) Plan to cover the employee. A voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance and AD&D Plan is also available to employees electing to purchase additional coverage. Coverage for spouses and/or child(ren) is also available.
FLEXIBLE BENEFITS - Employees may use pre-tax earnings to pay for Health Care Expenses, Dependent Care Expenses, and Transportation Expenses.
RETIREMENT PLANS - To help you achieve long-term financial goals, ZAI provides a 401(k) Savings Plan and an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). The Company matches a portion of your 401(k) Savings Plan contributions to further supplement your retirement dollars.
NASA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION - All ZAI employees are eligible for membership with the NASA Federal Credit Union.
